This Astro-Tech 2″ ND9 (neutral density 0.9) gray filter reduces the brightness and glare that can mask low contrast details during lunar and planetary observing with 2 eyepieces. It does so without affecting the natural colors of the solar system object being observed. Due to its low 13% light transmission, it works best in telescopes 6″-8 in aperture and larger.
