This Takahashi 2″ adapter is used to connect the Takahashi collimating scope to the 2″ focuser of takahashi reflectors and non-Takahashi telescopes.In order to use the Takahashi TCE0100 collimatingscope with Takahashi reflectors and non-Takahashi reflectors, such as the Astro-Tech and GSO Ritchey-Chrtiens, you will needthisTCN0055 adapter. The collimating scopethreads into the TCN0055 and the resulting collimating scope/adapter combination slips into the 2″ focuser of the telescope.
