Description
This handy map of the Moon’s near side identifies nearly 300 craters by name that you can see in a small telescope (many are also visible in binoculars), plus dozens of other features – such as mountain ranges and the dark maria or “seas” of once-molten lava. The Moon is shown with the north up, the way it appears in binoculars. Rotate it 180, so that the north is down, and the map shows the Moon the way it appears in Newtonian reflector telescopes. The lunar disk is 10 inches in diameter. The map is printed on a weatherproof no-rip plastic material to protect it from dew, spills, and everyday wear and tear for years to come.
