Description
This 1.80mm (.0709″) solid carbide micro twist drill is manufactured by Kyocera and features a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating for precision drilling applications where a small diameter tool and extended flute length are required.
Based on the tool dimensions and matching Kyocera 226-series drill references, this is a micro twist drill with a 3mm shank, 2.00″ overall length, and a long .788″ flute length. The extended flute design makes it useful where additional drilling depth or chip-carrying flute length is needed compared with shorter micro drills.
The DLC-coated carbide construction helps provide a hard, wear-resistant surface while maintaining the precision and rigidity expected from a solid carbide micro drill. This tool is supplied without a depth stop ring.
