Do you have a D-Style Mount? Would you like to attach Vixen style dovetails to it? This will solve your problem.
Do you suffer from this age-old astronomy problem? You only have one mount with a D-Style saddle, but a few different optical tubes that have either a D-Style dovetail or a Vixen Style dovetail. You love all your optics, but don’t love the thought of having to purchase another mount. Losmandy has the solution for your problem. The DV ADAPTER.
The DV Adapter is a simple product really. Losmandy took their male 7″ Universal D-Style dovetail and attached a female Vixen Style saddle plate directly to the top of it. This will allow you to slide the dovetail into your D-Style saddle, and then slide your Vixen dovetail into the Vixen saddle on top.
While the solution is simple, the product is manufactured to Losmandy’s exacting standards. The hard anodization and attention to detail assure you that the product was built to last.
