Description
Our manufacturer is a leading producer of round fence posts in North America, and their mill in Nacogdoches, Texas was among the first in the southern United States to install equipment that produces turned posts rather than peeled posts.
Turned posts are straighter, cleaner, and more consistent, with significantly less bark and far fewer unsightly blemishes. By using true Southern Yellow Pine saplings, these posts offer exceptional strength and durability, making them some of the strongest wood fence posts available.
After turning, the posts are bundled into smaller, square packs with spacer sticks placed between every row. This process allows each post to dry more evenly, which is critical to proper treatment. Controlled drying ensures the posts can be treated correctly and consistently to American Wood Protection Association (AWPA) standards using common preservatives such as CCA, CA-C, MCA, or Creosote.
While other manufacturers have attempted to replicate the appearance of these posts, the strength, treatment quality, and overall consistency remain unmatched.
Perfect Posts 4″ Line Posts are built for the backbone of your fence, the stretch between corners and gates where straightness and uniformity matter most.
Each post is precision-turned to a true 4″ diameter and cut to a full 7-foot length, giving you the ideal height and consistency for a clean, professional fence line. No guessing, no uneven sizing just precision from post to post.
These posts are pressure-treated for direct ground contact and designed to endure decades of weather, moisture, and livestock. They can be driven directly into the ground or set in a dug hole no concrete required. Expect a dependable 25-year service life in real-world conditions.
