Spyderco C165GSBBK – Autonomy Black Blade – Spyderedge

Description

The Spyderco Autonomy was created to meet the demanding needs of rescue swimmers, with features like one-handed deployment, saltwater resistance, and extreme cutting ability. Its orange version is Coast Guard-approved, while the all-black variant with safety and pocket clip caters to other users. Featuring a SpyderEdge sheepfoot-style blade made of H-1 steel, it’s highly corrosion-resistant and coated with Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) for reduced reflectivity. The handle boasts full stainless steel liners, textured black G-10 scales, and an oversized firing button with a sliding safety. Its auto-opening blade is powered by a coil spring, designed for easy maintenance with Spyderco’s spring replacement kit. Winner of the Most Innovative American Design award, the Autonomy is a groundbreaking achievement in automatic knife design.
