Description
This 2″ to 1″ adapter allows more in-travel for 1″ eyepieces than Tele Vue “flat-top” or “high-hat” adapters. This adapter is designed to attach to the 1″ eyepiece barrel and convert the eyepiece for use with a 2″ focuser or diagonal. The main application is for 1″ eyepieces that may need more in-travel due to limited focuser range of your telescope.
In-Travel Comparison
The “In-Travel” model achieves the following amount of in-travel benefit compared to our conventional 2″ to 1″ adapters.
| Adapter | In-Travel Increase (mm) |
|---|---|
| HiHat | 17 |
| *Paracorr-2 | 12 |
| Flat-top | 11 |
*Using this adapter for Delos 12, 10, 8, 6, 4.5, 3.5 and In-Travel adapter for Delos 17.3, 14 makes all Delos eyepieces parfocal.
