Description
Telrad Dew Shield Plus
Protect Your Telrad from Dew and Add a Flip Mirror for Daytime Alignment
The Telrad Dew Shield Plus combines two smart upgrades into one essential accessory: it helps prevent dew from forming on your Telrads glass screen, and it adds a flip-up mirror that lets you align your Telrad comfortably during the day without squinting through the window.
The dew shield component is a simple hinged cover that flips down to protect your Telrads lens when not in use and flips up to block dew and stray light during observing. This reduces the need to wipe off condensationsomething youll appreciate on humid nights or during long sessions.
What sets the Dew Shield Plus apart from the standard version is the built-in mirror. When flipped into position, this mirror lets you see the reticle from above rather than directly behind the Telrad. This is particularly useful during daylight hours when aligning your finder with your scope on distant terrestrial objects, since the Telrad reticle can be hard to see in bright conditions. It also provides a more comfortable viewing angle for anyone who finds the straight-through design a bit of a neck strain.
The Dew Shield Plus installs easily with Velcro fasteners (included) and is made of durable black plastic to match your Telrads housing. It adds very little weight or bulk but gives you a lot of added usability.
